Hi Soumak, Sony A6700 is a crop-sensor camera and for the best results, it is recommended to use aps-c lenses like SEL18200LE, SEL70350G and others. That said, the choice ultimately depends on your specific needs and shooting style. Please keep in mind that with the Sony A6700 (a crop-sensor camera), some features of these full-frame lenses (Sony100400GM Lens or Sony200600 Lens ) may not be fully optimized due to compatibility limitations. To get further clarification, we would highly recommend you to have a look at the Alpha Classroom where Sudhir Shivaram takes you through the various aspects of wildlife photography https://alphacommunity.in/the-alpha-classroom/course/8/wildlife-photography/

Hi Krishna, Unfortunately, we cannot transfer the image without additional steps. Eventually, the mobile and camera must establish a connection through the IEM or Creators app, and the software can only be used on mobile phones. However, for some MacBooks, image transfer can be done through a physical connection with the camera if the require port is available.

Hi Luis, You may refer below mentioned settings to shoot the picture of bird in the camera. Shooting Mode: Manual Mode (M): This provides full control over aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. It is particularly useful for fast-moving subjects like birds, allowing you to adjust settings quickly as lighting conditions change. Aperture: Wide Open: Use the lowest f-stop your lens allows (e.g., f/4.5-5.6). This maximizes light intake and sharpness, which is crucial for capturing details in bird feathers. Shutter Speed: Fast Shutter Speeds: For static birds, a shutter speed of at least 1/500 sec is recommended. For birds in flight, aim for 1/1000 to 1/2000 sec to freeze motion effectively. Adjust according to the size and speed of the bird; larger birds may require slightly lower speeds. ISO Settings: Auto ISO: Set your camera to use Auto ISO with a maximum limit that you find acceptable (e.g., up to 6400 or 12800). This allows the camera to adapt to changing light conditions while maintaining image quality. Autofocus Settings Focus Mode: Continuous Autofocus (AF-C): This mode is essential for tracking moving subjects. It keeps focus on the bird as it moves, ensuring sharp images. Subject Recognition: Bird Eye Autofocus: Enable this feature to prioritize focusing on the bird's eye, which is critical for portrait-like images of birds. Focus Area: Tracking Zone or Wide: These settings allow for better tracking of birds in motion. You can also set a custom button for quick access to different focus areas depending on your shooting scenario.

Most professional videographers agree that two cameras are ideal for filming a wedding. This allows them to capture important moments from different angles, creating an amazing, finished product that the couple can treasure for life! While some more skilled videographers might use three or more cameras, they would generally do this only when they have plenty of time and personnel at the event.

Hi Mukesh, Usually, wide angle lenses are used for landscapes, to get more wider area in the image. Example, SEL12-24MM, SEL14MM, SEL16-35MM etc.
Posted in Lenses on thread Which lenses are the best for Landscape shoots in Sony?
Hi Aniket, Below are the key factors for the lens selection : 1. Focal Length: Focal length determines the angle of view and magnification of your lens. It's crucial to consider the specific types of photography or videography you'll be engaging in. Wide-angle lenses (typically 10-35mm) are suitable for landscapes and architecture, standard lenses (around 35-85mm) for general-purpose shooting, and telephoto lenses (85mm and above) for subjects that are farther away or for achieving a shallow depth of field. 2. Aperture: The maximum aperture of a lens impacts its light-gathering capability and depth of field control. A wider aperture (lower f-number, such as f/1.4) allows more light to enter the lens, enabling better performance in low-light conditions and creating a shallow depth of field for background blur. Consider the desired level of low-light performance and bokeh effect when selecting a lens. 3. Lens Compatibility: Sony Alpha cameras support a range of lenses, including native Sony lenses and those from other manufacturers through adapters. Consider the lens mount compatibility of your camera model and the availability of lenses in that mount. Native lenses often offer seamless integration and optimized performance, while adapted lenses provide flexibility and access to a wider range of options. 4. Image Stabilization: Some lenses, particularly telephoto or zoom lenses, may feature built-in optical image stabilization (OIS). This technology helps counteract camera shake and allows for sharper handheld shots, especially in situations where a tripod may not be feasible. Consider whether image stabilization is a necessary feature for your shooting style or if you rely on external stabilization methods. 5. Optical Quality: Assess the optical quality and reputation of the lens you are considering. Look for lenses with good sharpness, minimal distortion, low chromatic aberration, and effective lens coatings to reduce lens flare and ghosting. Read reviews, check sample images, and consider the lens's build quality and durability. 6. Budget and Priorities: Determine your budget range and prioritize your needs. High-end lenses often come with advanced features and superior optical quality but at a higher cost. Consider your specific requirements and strike a balance between the features, performance, and your budget limitations. 7. Future Expandability: Think about your long-term goals and potential future needs. Sony Alpha cameras offer a diverse range of lenses, so consider the lens ecosystem and the availability of lenses that may be required as you progress in your photography or filmmaking journey. Assess the compatibility with future camera upgrades and any specialized lenses you may require.

Posted in Nature & Wildlife on thread Which lenses are recommended for nature and wildlife filmmaking in Sony?
Hi Aniket, For wildlife photography with Sony Alpha cameras, lenses with fast aperture values are often preferred to ensure optimal performance in challenging lighting conditions and to achieve a shallow depth of field for subject separation. While there are several excellent lenses suitable for wildlife photography, one standout option known for its speed is: Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS: The Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS lens is renowned for its exceptional optical quality, fast autofocus, and impressive build quality. With a wide maximum aperture of f/2.8, this lens allows for faster shutter speeds and better low-light performance, enabling you to capture sharp and detailed images of fast-moving wildlife. Its large aperture also provides excellent subject isolation, making the subject stand out from the background. Additionally, the lens features built-in optical image stabilization (OSS) to counteract camera shake and maintain stability while shooting handheld. This lens is part of Sony's high-end G Master (GM) series, designed to deliver top-tier optical performance. While it offers superb image quality and excellent autofocus capabilities, it's worth noting that the Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS lens is a professional-grade lens with a high price tag. It's commonly used by wildlife photographers and sports photographers who require a combination of speed, reach, and exceptional image quality. It's important to consider factors such as focal length, aperture, autofocus speed, image stabilization, and budget when selecting a lens for wildlife photography. Depending on your specific needs, there are other excellent options available in the Sony Alpha lens lineup, including telephoto zoom lenses like the Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS or prime lenses like the Sony FE 600mm f/4 GM OSS, which offer various focal lengths and aperture ranges to suit different wildlife photography scenarios.
