Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue with booking photo tour events on Alpha Community and wanted to check if anyone else has experienced something similar.

I have a Sony A7 IV registered under my account on register.sony.co.in, and the same camera is correctly reflected under my profile in alphacommunity.in as well.

However, when I try to book any available photo tour event, the 50% discount applicable for first-time Alpha users is not getting applied during checkout. The pricing remains unchanged, even though my camera registration appears to be properly linked.

Additionally, if I click on “Register a product” from the event booking page (as shown in the screenshot), it redirects me to the Alpha Community product registration page. When I attempt to register my camera there, it shows that the product is already registered, which makes the situation a bit confusing.

I’ve attached screenshots for reference showing:
• Camera registered under my Sony account
• Camera visible in Alpha Community profile
• Event booking page showing no discount
• Product registration flow indicating “already registered”

Has anyone faced this issue before?
• Is this a known problem with account or profile syncing?
• Does the discount require any additional activation or approval?
• Any suggestions on how to get this resolved (support contact, steps to retry, etc.)?
