Eye autofocus using the custom AEL button is not working on my Sony A6000. I don't see the green square on the eye. What might I be doing wrong? Also, could you suggest the correct camera settings for enabling Eye AF on the Sony A6000?

We kindly request you to enable the following settings on your camera to optimize the performance. 1. Set Focus Mode to AF-S: o Press the C1 button (or access via the menu). o Select AF-S (Single-shot AF). 2. Set Focus Area to Wide: o Press the Fn button. o Select Focus Area, then choose WIDE. 3. Enable Face Detection: o Go to the Camera Menu → Smile/Face Detection. o Set it to ON. 4. Assign Eye AF to the AEL Button: o MENU → (Custom Settings) → Custom Key Settings. o Select AEL Button and assign Eye AF to it. 5. Using Eye AF: o Aim at your subject so their face is visible. o Hold down the AEL button. o A green box should appear over the eye when focus is achieved, indicating Eye AF is active. 6. Take the photo: o While still holding the Eye AF button, press the shutter to take the picture
