Is using a teleconverter lens recommended?

Hi All,
I have been using A6100Y camera which came with two lens 16-50 mm and 55-210 mm. Can we use a E mount 1.4x or 2x teleconverter lens along with the 55-210mm zoom lens for wildlife or Astro/moon photography?

Hi Thinesh,
The 1.4x and 2x teleconverters are not compatible with the 16-50mm and 55-210mm lenses typically paired with the Sony ILCE-6100Y. According to Sony's official compatibility chart, these teleconverters are only supported by select lenses, such as the 70-200mm and 100-400mm models, and cannot be used effectively with the 16-50mm and 55-210mm lenses.
