Error in uploading images taken with sony camera

This has become a usual experience that the upload is rejected with an error saying the image is not taken with Sony Camera. I have been using sony many cameras since 2010. The images are sometimes edited with Snapseed, however the exif data clearly shows the camera and lens with all the details. It is then impossible to participate in the competitions.
